West Hillhurst is an inner-city community on the north bank of the Bow River, west of Hillhurst and Kensington, between 18 Street and 29 Street NW. Its land was subdivided starting in 1906, but it really grew after 1945, when Victory Homes were built for returning Second World War veterans. Many of those small homes still stand beside the large infills that have replaced others.
It's an active detached and semi market: 136 homes sold over the last 12 months. Detached homes went for about $774K to $1.81M, and semis for about $636K to $1.42M. The live listings are below, followed by detailed prices, the river, the community centre and how West Hillhurst compares.
