Bankview is one of Calgary's older inner-city communities, on a hillside just south of 17 Avenue SW, between 14 Street and 19 Street SW. The land was once William Nimmons' ranch, and the streets were subdivided into a grid in the early 1900s. The slope gives many homes and condos views north and east toward the downtown skyline.
Most homes are walk-up condos, with a scattering of character houses, new infills and townhomes between them. 99 homes sold over the last 12 months: condos for about $155K to $346K, townhomes for about $266K to $824K, and detached homes from about $551K. The live listings are below, followed by prices by home type, condo fees, getting around and how Bankview compares.
