Bowness is a northwest Calgary community on a bend of the Bow River, between the river and 16 Avenue NW. It was its own town until it joined Calgary in 1964, and it still has its own main street on Bowness Road and the century-old Bowness Park lagoon.
Bowness is two markets in one: 1950s and 1960s bungalows on big lots, and new infill duplexes built where those bungalows stood. 182 homes sold here over the last 12 months. Detached homes went for about $525K to $1.45M, and semi-detached homes, mostly new infills, for about $483K to $888K. The live listings are below, followed by prices, flood information, schools and how Bowness compares.
