Rideau Park is a small, older community in a bend of the Elbow River in southwest Calgary, west of 4 Street SW, across the river from Elbow Park and Cliff Bungalow and just over the 4 Street bridge from Mission. Planned before the First World War by Frederick Lowes, who also developed Elbow Park, it mixes large detached homes with the Rideau Towers apartments, completed in 1955, and Rideau Park School has served the community since 1930.
18 homes sold over the last 12 months, about 20 in a typical year. Over the last three years detached homes mostly sold for about $1.39M to $4.23M, and condos for about $275K to $710K. Below are the live listings, then prices, flood protection, the school and how Rideau Park compares.
