Mission is an inner-city community on the Elbow River, south of 17 Avenue and east of 4 Street SW. It grew from an Oblate Catholic mission founded in 1875 and later moved to this spot on the Elbow River, and it was incorporated in 1899 as Rouleauville, a French-speaking village, before Calgary annexed it in 1907. St. Mary's Cathedral and Rouleauville Square still mark the old village centre.
Most homes are condos, in walk-ups and mid-rise buildings close to the river and 4 Street's restaurants. 89 homes sold over the last 12 months, almost all condos, mostly for about $190K to $637K. Below are the live listings, then condo prices, schools, the river and how Mission compares.
