Westmere homes for sale cover more ground than any other Chestermere community: condos in the high $200Ks, townhomes under $400,000, and detached family homes that typically sell around $725,000. Over the last 12 months, 98 homes sold here, more than in any other community in the city.
Westmere is the settled side of Chestermere. Most homes went up between the early 2000s and the late 2010s, with a few older streets from the 1980s and 1990s. Lots are bigger than in the new communities (the typical detached lot is close to 5,900 sq ft), and the trees have had time to grow. Homes also sell faster here than anywhere else in Chestermere, with a median of about five weeks on the market.
If you want an established street, a real yard and the lake within reach, start here. If you want a brand-new build with a warranty, look at Bridgeport or Waterford instead.
