East Village is the riverside east end of downtown Calgary, where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet, east of City Hall and Macleod Trail. It's the site of Fort Calgary, where the city began in 1875, and since 2007 it has been rebuilt by the City's Calgary Municipal Land Corporation into a district of new condo towers around the Central Library, Studio Bell and the RiverWalk.
It has some of the newest condos downtown: more than half of all homes were built in 2011 or later. 78 condos sold over the last 12 months, mostly for about $209K to $543K. You'll find the live listings next, then condo prices and fees, the river parks, transit and how East Village compares.
